The Bloodmobile is a
self-contained Blood donor clinic that comes to you on a dependable schedule, on
wheels. The Bloodmobile is safe and convenient. Bloodmobile is a mobile medical
center, a Blood
collection vehicle at your door, rain or shine. From the outside, the mobile Blood Donation Unit
is about as big as a bus. It is over forty-feet long, eight-feet wide

Registry is a safe place and location to store your baby's cord Blood.
The Bloodmobile has a Blood donor welcome area,
private interview booths, comfortable donation beds, and a
refreshment area where Bloodmobile Blood donors are
encouraged to enjoy coffee or juice after their Blood donation.
There are lots of windows in the Bloodmobile placed throughout
the viewing area in the Bloodmobile to allow for ample natural
light, creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. You can see
out; Others can not see you inside the Bloodmobile!
The Bloodmobile floor plan accommodates
all operational areas required to run a complete and safe on-board clinic, giving
specially trained and professional staff the opportunity to provide

and space flexibility, coming to you rather than
the donor coming to us. We visit your local Blood banks.
The Bloodmobile travels to businesses and organizations
throughout the area. In one drive day, 25 to 60 Blood donors can be
comfortably accommodated. Small businesses or organizations that are
unable to meet the minimum attendance requirement are encouraged to
recruit other neighboring businesses or organizations to join their
Bloodmobile Blood drive. Along with receiving screening and a gift,
small businesses or organizations will receive the satisfaction of
knowing all the Blood donated will remain locally and will help save
the lives of many patients in this community.

The Bloodmobile's exterior features a colorful design
and the Bloodmobile interior includes amenities helping to create a
comfortable environment for Blood donors including TV/VCR and CD
players, a refrigerator and microwave, a private intercom system and
enhanced air conditioning units. The new Bloodmobile can
accommodate many Blood donors simultaneously.

Blood donors who give Blood at the Bloodmobile mobile Blood
collection vehicle this month will receive a special gift containing a
pin, a nice magnet and a gift decoration. It is Bloodmobile's way of
thanking Blood donors during Blood Donor Time with the
Bloodmobile County Blood Service. The county area served by the
Bloodmobile services, of which the city is a part, units of Blood are
needed in the hospitals and emergency treatment facilities for
patients with accident injuries, diseases, for organ transplant
recipients from our mobile medical vehicles.

Giving Blood is simple and easy, and it can save someone's life. Most
people who are in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and are at
least 17 years of age are eligible to give Blood at the Bloodmobile
every 56 days. There is no substitute for human Blood. Blood cannot be
manufactured, and much of today's medical care depends on having a
steady supply of Blood provided by healthy volunteer donors at the
Bloodmobile. Every time you give Blood, you help a few people in need
with your plasma, platelets, and red Blood cells. Don't forget to
